4 Corners of the State
Each wall features a different corner representing the cardinal directions of Louisiana.

Rotunda
Artistic License
The Mansion’s elegant marble floor features a central motif made of approximately 2,500 pieces of marble showcasing the state seal, with a magnolia blossom prominently at its base. Though beautiful, the official Louisiana state seal does not feature a magnolia at its base; the designer exercised artistic license by incorporating one.
